Starting it’s SAVE CO2 initiative, HIERL & MÜLLER, the special and direct transport specialist based in Straubing, Germany, wants to contribute to improve the ecological balance in the logistics sector.

HIERL & MÜLLER would like to reduce empty kilometres of the carriers used and save emissions by better utilisation of loading space on return journeys and onward journeys via the in-house courier platform e-kurier.net.
For every ton of CO2 saved, HIERL & MÜLLER will donate 10 Euros to the non-profit association Bergwaldprojekt e.V. at the end of the year. Fewer empty kilometres thus mean more CO2 savings and more immediate help for the protection, preservation and care of European mountain forests and adjacent cultural landscapes.
