On 17 and 18 August, 2019, Logistics Alliance Germany (LAG) took part in the government’s Open House Day with a stand at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). Together with Alliance members LaLoG LandLogistik GmbH, Sommer GmbH & Co. KG and Universal Transport Michels GmbH & Co. KG, as well as representatives of the freight traffic and logistics department (G 14) in the BMVI, the LAG hosted a stand with information, games and giveaways that once again proved to be a visitor magnet.

Numerous members of the public took advantage of the opportunity to learn about the activities of the LAG. A darts game gave visitors the chance to experience Germany’s position as a logistics location in Europe and on a global scale. Next, a quiz let them test their knowledge of the German logistics industry and get into discussions with the LAG, members of the Förderverein (LAG Development Association) and representatives of the Federal Ministry. The table football was a particular draw, with games held under the motto “Challenge the Logistics Champion.”
