In Retrospect: 7th LAG German-Russian Logistics Forum 2020

A popular conference format in context of the Transrussia, the annual LAG German-Russian Logistics Forum, for the first time, was organized as a purely digital event by the Association.

The 7th German-Russian Logistics Forum of the Logistics Alliance Germany, held on October 1, 2020 as an online event, drew more than 160 participants with its interesting expert contributions.

A popular conference format in context of the Transrussia, the annual LAG German-Russian Logistics Forum, for the first time, was organized as a purely digital event by the Association for the Development of Logistics Alliance Germany (Förderverein LAG e.V.). 160 participants from Germany, Russia and other European countries were eager to join the bi-lingual online conference.

Indeed, LAG had to adapt the format, after the largest Russian logistics trade show was first postponed, and later cancelled, due to new safety regulations initiated in times of the Corona-pandemic.

Steffen Bilger MdB, Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and coordinator for logistics and freight transport of the German Federal, and  Christian Pegel, Minister of Energy, Infrastructure and Digitalization of the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania were joined by German and Russian experts to talk business, the Northern sea route, as well as rail transport services.
