The Förderverein Logistics Alliance Germany e. V. participated as a featured exhibitor at the German joint booth during the international transport logistics exhibition logitrans Turkey in Istanbul from 10.-12. November 2021. Numerous logisticians and business leaders from Turkey and other countries used the opportunity for discussions to get to know the LAG and its members and partners and to intensify existing contacts. The trade fair appearance was supported by representatives of our member company Universal Transport.

On the second day of the fair, Stefan Schröder, Chief Advisor Logistics Alliance Germany, and Ergin Büyükbayram, Universal Transport, presented the German logistics industry and the services of the members of the Förderverein in a LAG logistics forum entitled “Logistics Solutions made in Germany #logisticsconnected”.

On the last day of the fair, a meeting of representatives of the Förderverein Logistics Alliance Germany e. V. with high-ranking representatives from UTİKAD (Association of International Forwarding and Logistics Service Providers, Turkey) took place. During the meeting, the latest developments in the Turkish and German logistics industry as well as possibilities for bilateral cooperation were discussed. The trade show organizers reported that 122 companies from 18 countries took part in this year's logitrans. Almost 10,000 visitors could be counted in the three days of the fair. In the conference program of the fair, 9 sessions took place, focussing on topics like digitization, intermodal logistics chains and women in the air freight sector.
